Christmas Fun!

I love Christmas time!!! It is my favorite time of the year. I love all the decorations and the feeling that is in the air around Christmas time! I had to decorate my room so that it felt like Christmas in there! It wasn't too much, but it was cozy!

I also had my Christmas flavored Scentsy on so that it smelt like Christmas too!

For my kiddos, I wanted to do something for them for the Holidays. I knew I didn't want to give candy or something random that would have no value. So I came up with a fun ornament craft we did on the last day before break.

I bought some clear ornaments from Hobby Lobby and had some leftover paint from previous crafts. The kids got to pick 2 paint colors and I squirted them in their ornament. They swirled their ornaments around till the paint covered the whole ornament. Then I painted their thumb and stuck it on one side of the ornament. I added a nose and antlers for a reindeer head! On the back I wrote their name and the school year.

They loved it!!! I was very proud of them. I walked around the school during my conference time showing our ornaments off to everyone! My only complaint is that the excess paint in there didn't dry easily. In fact, I dropped one of my examples and blue paint splattered everywhere. I'll have to come up with a way to fix that for next year.
